I really like the characters in this book. Like and Shelby fell in love at first sight. I would recommend this book to my friends.
If you want to feel a part of a family and community, where residents are welcoming and helping each other in daily life situations and in crisis, this series is perfect. Each story line is unique and several unrelated threads are masterfully drawn together to a satisfying conclusion. There are no disappointments as each book unwinds with new and unexpected twists and turns. Robyn Carr builds relationships that display humor and consideration, innate to the character or learned. We have read all Virgin River episodes and each time yearn for more. At
the end of each book, we say, "That was the best one yet," Of course, we highly recommend this heartwarming visit to Virgin River.
OMG I loved this hero, Luke. What a guy. He is older than the heroine so he tries to avoid her and keep his distance. However, this young Miss has other ideas and he is a goner and just doesn't know it. This was a very good story. I loved it. Read in order or as a stand alone book, all the books in the Virgin River series are GREAT. I have loved every one I have read and I believe it is everyone that R. Carr has written. I love this community and feel a part of it. Good read and highly recommend. Sexy story with this Blackhawk pilot hero!!!!
Temptation Ridge is a fast-paced romance in the Virgin River series. Characters, dialogue, and story line are believable. This story also introduces Art, a Down syndrome man who has been physically abused by his caretakers.
Examples of great lines are when Mel and Doc talk about gaining weight.
"Did I say a word?" He asked, letting his glasses drop into place. She hmmmphed and crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at him. "Quit complaining about your weight," he said, rubbing a hand over his big belly. "At least you have the advantage of giving birth to most of yours."

I will re-read this story and look forward to more from this,author.
What keeps me coming back is the small town community. Growing up neighbors were there for neighbors. People cared. Today's world everyone sues everyone. Doors are locked everywhere because there is no trust. People have turned into horrible people. Communities job one knows anyone. Reading this series is an escape to times I loved growing up.
I have been reading this series from book one and I have really enjoyed them. I love reading about small town people and their lives but this one keeps on continuing the saga but for some reason I found this one to be rather boring. Robyn Carr focused so much on one couple and their intense sex life that it made all the other things going on in the town second place, so therefore, I had to give this book only three stars and debated rather to go on to the next book. Well, I have ordered book seven "Paradise Valley" so I will see if this one is more exciting.
